Actually the two arguments are not even close to being the same thing.
Bo is a succubus. She could lose control at any moment. She’s dangerous, especially to someone physically weaker than her. Not to mention - the elephant in the room - lifespan. Oh, and I won’t even go into needing to feed. Or the fact that Bo is in direct fire of some of the most powerful and deadly fae on the planet on a near constant basis, which, in turn, could put Lauren in danger. Let’s face it, Lauren can not go toe to toe with most fae in a fight.
Two humans (generally) do not have the same drastic difference in lifespan, strength, diet, or healing ability. It’s not about differences, it’s about the shear scope of reality the pair will have to muddle through to make things work. Pointing out glaringly obvious and relevant obstacles with a relationship is not homophobic just because the pairing is homosexual.
